Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 July 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Avenue collects from you, why we collect it, and how we protect and use it — in line with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020). We collect only the necessary minimum, and we never sell your data.

01Data we collect

We collect only the data needed to contact you and deliver our services, through the forms on the site:

  • Book-a-visit form: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email (optional), governorate, city and address, and the property type, project type, details and notes you choose to share.
  • Contact form: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, and the text of your message.
  • Vendor interest form: company name, contact person, phone number, product focus, city, and a description of your products.
  • Limited technical data collected automatically (browser and device type, and the pages you visit) for operations and analytics.

We never ask for or store any payment data — there are no online payments on the site at launch.

02Why we collect it and our legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, in line with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020). We collect only the necessary minimum, and we use it to:

  • Contact you to confirm your request and schedule your visit.
  • Prepare the design and price quote suited to your project.
  • Respond to your enquiries and improve our services.
  • Review requests from vendors interested in contributing to the catalog (phase two).

We do not use your data for any other purpose without your consent, and we never sell it to any party.

03Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site and remember your preferences (such as language), and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used and improve it. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking at launch.

You can control or delete cookies from your browser settings at any time.

04Site analytics & consent

To improve the site we use a built-in, self-hosted analytics system (on our own servers, requiring no external account). What we record is anonymous data only:

  • The pages visited (the path only, e.g. /catalog) and interaction events — such as clicking the WhatsApp button, opening the AI assistant, or starting/completing the booking form.
  • An anonymous random session id generated per browser, not tied to your name, number, or any real identity, and from which you cannot be identified.
  • If the site owner optionally enables Google Analytics, additional visit statistics may be collected through it, subject to Google’s privacy policy.

This system collects no personal data about you beyond what you voluntarily submit through the booking or contact forms. No tracking begins until you have explicitly consented via the consent banner shown on your first visit. You can decline at any time, and clearing your browser storage resets your choice so the banner appears again.

05Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers, to the extent needed to run our service:

  • WhatsApp (Meta) when you contact us through it — messages are governed by WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
  • Our email service provider, to send replies and request confirmations.
  • Our hosting provider, which stores the site’s data securely.

Avenue’s AI assistant: when AI is used to help serve you, your personal data (name, phone number and address) is removed before any processing, so your personal information never reaches the model.

06How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as our relationship with you is active. Incomplete or inactive requests are deleted or anonymized after a reasonable period (around 24 months), unless the law requires us to keep them longer. You can request the deletion of your data at any time.

07The security of your data

We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest, restrict access to authorized staff only under the principle of least privilege, and log any access to personal data for accountability. Despite taking every reasonable measure, no method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.

08Your rights

Under Law No. 151 of 2020, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct or update any inaccurate data.
  • Request the deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw your consent to processing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@avenuedesign-eg.com and we’ll respond promptly.

09Children’s privacy

Our site and services are aimed at adults and project owners, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If we learn that such data has been collected, we delete it.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to keep pace with the evolution of our services or legal requirements. On any material change, we update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
